You know, if Tarzan was set in a New Hampshire state park, Maureen O'Sullivan is now Emily Seppala, and the most dangerous wildlife are mosquitoes (swarms of them). The analogy breaks down after that, I suppose, but I hope Phil Collins' "Strangers Like Me" is as stuck in your head as it is in mine now.

Well, I don't know what that quote has to do with anything, except that it's about love, fishing, and it's from Mark Twain and these were the themes of day two of Asia and Shane's engagement shoot.
We hopped in the car pre-sunrise, slid Head and the Heart into the CD player and arrived at this small lake behind Shane's grandparents' armed with piping hot coffee and a trusty Pendleton Wool blanket. Guys, there is something about sunrise light that just can not compete with sunset light. Maybe it's just fresh and new, the promise of a whole day of possibilities. Whatever it is, I dig it and was extremely pleased with the glow it provided, a perfect match to the twitterpated look these two love-birds are rocking.

It's happening! The little sister is getting married to the man of her dreams in a month. I had the pleasure of capturing these two lovelies over the course of two photo sessions. They were so drastically different, I had make this into two posts. Session one (below) was a golden hour spent intermittently relaxing and twirling in a field. I've been taking photos of Asia ever since I first picked up a camera, so working with her is a dream for me. I mean, just look at that face. That, combined with Shane's rugged good looks and I could've just thrown the camera at these two and we'd still have great shots.
